What is Amoxicillin?
Amoxicillin, one of the most commonly used semi-synthetic penicillin broad-spectrum β-lactam antibiotics, is a white powder with a half-life of about 61.3 minutes. It is stable under acidic conditions and has a 90% absorption rate in the gastrointestinal tract. Amoxicillin has strong bactericidal effect and strong ability to penetrate cell membranes.
